Hello everyone! It's all about Dragons Tails right now in our house with the new How to Train your Dragon movie coming out. We all love dragons and vikings which is perfect to go with this Doodlebug card using the Dragon Tails line. For this card I used the March Sketch
You can play along 3 times and post to the

Here is my take on the sketch. I used a lot of supplies that I will list at the end with links to get your own so you can share with us and enter for a chance to win.
I LOVE making light up cards and this Chibitronics Intro Pack makes it so easy to do. Everything you need is included in this to make your own light up card. I also used the Doodlebug Dragon Tails 6x6 paper pack, odd and ends, some Antique Rose nuvo drops, and a glitter brush.
I started by making my path of how to lay out the copper tape, light, and battery. I forgot to take pics of this part. I did that on the card base itself. Next I used foam tape around the battery and on the background paper to allow some space for the battery to be pressed down. I punched a hole where the dragon's fire lights up. I cut a banner to match the sketch and punched a hole there as well, lining them up and adhering them together. Next I added a double layer of foam tape to the dragon placing his belly on the battery and the fire over the light. I finished it off with a strip sentiment and some odds and end pieces. Nuvo drops were added for some extra dimension.
This is the finished card lit up. I really like how cute it turned out. You can search on Youtube for videos on light up cards. They are really easy to make once you take the step and just start! White Rose Crafts carries all the supplies you need to make it even easier!!
